दाटून आलेल्या संध्याकाळी
अवचित ऊन पडतं
तसंच काहीसं पाऊल न वाजवता
आपल्या आयुष्यात प्रेम येतं

शोधून कधी सापडत नाही
मागुन कधी मिळत नाही
वादळ वेडं घुसतं तेव्हा
टाळू म्हणून टळत नाही

आकाश पाणी तारे वारे
सारे सारे ताजे होतात
वर्षाच्या विटलेल्या मनाला
आवेगांचे तुरे फुटतात

संभ्रम स्वप्न तळमळ सांत्वन
किती किती तऱ्हा असतात
साऱ्या सारख्याच जीवघेण्या 
आणि खोल जिव्हारी ठसतात

प्रेमाच्या सफल-विफलतेला
खरंतर काही महत्त्व नसतं
इथल्या जय-पराजयात
एकच गहिरं सार्थक असतं

मात्र ते भोगण्यासाठी
एक उसळणारं मन लागतं
खुल्या सोनेरी ऊन्हासारखं
आयुष्यात प्रेम यावं लागतं
