मला खुपदा प्रश्न पडतो

आयुष्य कसं असतं?

कधी कधी वाटतं,

आयुष्य असतं एखाद्या तळ्यासारखं

कुणीही यावं, एखादा दगड टाकुन जावं

दगड टाकणारा निघुन ज्जतो,

पाण्यात खळबळ माजवुन जातो,

अशा वेळेस काय करावं?


कधी कधी वाटतं,

आयुष्य असतं एखाद्या लाकडासारखं

कुणीही यावं, एखदी ठिणगी टाकुन जावं

वाळ्लेलं असेल तर जाळ होतो नाहीतर .

नुसताच धुर ओल्या लाकडाचा

अशा वेळेस काय करावं?


कधी कधी वाटतं,

आयुष्य असतं एखाद्या प्याद्या सारखं

आपला रस्ता फक्त सरळ असतो

पण त्यात कुणीही मधे येतो,

हत्ती, घोड, वजिर अणि कधी कधी राजा सुध्धा

मागेही वळता येत नाही,

अशा वेळेस काय करावं?


पण मला वाटतं...

आयुष्य कसं असावं?

ढगातुन पडणार्‍या पावसाच्या सरी सारखं

तिला कुणीही अडवु शकत नाही

तिला कुणीही जाळु शकत नाही

एकदा वरुन खाली झोकुन दिल्यावर

तिला माहित नसतं, आपण कुठे पडणार आहोत

शेतातल्या काळ्या मातीवर की,

शहरातल्या डाबंरी रस्तावर

कुणा धनिकाच्या रौक गार्डनवर वर कि

कुणा गरीबाच्या झोपडीवर?

रस्तावर बसलेल्या भिकर्‍याच्या थाळित कि,

'येरे येरे पावसा' म्हणत सोडलेल्या कागदाच्या होडित?


पण कोठेही पडो

तिचा उद्देश एकच असतो

दुसर्‍याला निर्मळ बनवन्याचा

दुसर्‍याला फुलविण्याचा
